電気温水器の訪問販売の相談が急増
全国の消費生活センターに寄せられる訪問販売に関する相談は年々減少してきている一方で、電気温水器の訪問販売に関する相談は増加している。
【相談件数等】
電気温水器の訪問販売に関する相談件数は2003―2008年度の間に3,894件(2008年9月末日までの登録分)で、年々増加している。2007年度は2003年度の約6倍の1,343件となっている。 契約当事者は女性よりも男性が若干多く、50、60歳代が約半数である。平均契約金額は約127万円で、契約購入金額は100万―150万円が約半数を占め、支払方法は、クレジット契約が75%を占めている。
【問題点】
1. 経済的メリットばかりを強調し、消費者が冷静な判断ができていない場合が多い。
2. 補助金制度の応募のため契約を急がせることもある。
3. 機能について説明が不足していたり、不適切な機器の設置を勧めているケースもある。
4. モニター商法のトラブルも寄せられている。
【消費者へのアドバイス】
1. 費用についてしっかり見積もりを取り比較する。
2. 機能や使用上の注意点についても十分確認する。
3. モニターだからと言われても気軽に契約しないこと。
4. トラブルにあったら消費生活センターに相談する。

クレジット手数料もかかるのに、クレジット契約が75％占めてるのはビックリです。
ﾗﾝﾆﾝｸﾞｺｽﾄはお得なんですが、ｲﾆｼｬﾙは他の給湯器に比べ結構高く。
今使えるのに無理して買う必要はないんじゃないでしょうか。
